Four Times the Kudos
Some Dem's and/or liberal's are mad as hell and aren't going to take it anymore and are making their dissatisfaction known, in writing or on the Senate floor. Kudos to the following four...
Molly Ivans for bitch-slapping the Democratic Party, hopefully giving them a little wake up call:
I've got a soft spot for the following kudos recipient, Helen Thomas...she's got some brass one's that ol' broad. I dig her! She's good people. She earned her kudos for going after her own, the press, with the following:
Not only is he smokin' hot, but he's a liberal too! Smart, talented, charming, did I mention hot? Kudos to George Clooney for opening up a giant can of whoop-ass on the Democrat's in his post on the popular blog, The Huffington Post. Here is where he let it fly:
Last, but certainly not least, kudos to Senator Russ Feingold for recognizing that if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then the duck is a lying sonofabitch! I applaud his effort to censure President Bush! At the same time, I'm flippin' a giant bird to the Dem's who are distancing themselves from him. Now is the time to unite, not the time for political hand wringing...cowards!
I concur you badass mutha fuckahhh!

Mah fellow progressives, now is the time for all good men and women to come to the aid of the party. I don’t know about you, but I have had it with the D.C. Democrats, had it with the DLC Democrats, had it with every calculating, equivocating, triangulating, straddling, hair-splitting son of a bitch up there, and that includes Hillary Rodham Clinton. Enough of the D.C. Dems
I've got a soft spot for the following kudos recipient, Helen Thomas...she's got some brass one's that ol' broad. I dig her! She's good people. She earned her kudos for going after her own, the press, with the following:
The naïve complicity of the press and the government was never more pronounced than in the prelude to the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq. The media became an echo chamber for White House pronouncements. One example: At President Bush's March 6, 2003, news conference, in which he made it eminently clear that the United States was going to war, one reporter pleased the "born again" Bush when she asked him if he prayed about going to war. And so it went. [More...]

The fear of been criticized can be paralyzing. Just look at the way so many Democrats caved in the run up to the war. In 2003, a lot of us were saying, where is the link between Saddam and bin Laden? What does Iraq have to do with 9/11? We knew it was bullshit. Which is why it drives me crazy to hear all these Democrats saying, "We were misled." It makes me want to shout, "Fuck you, you weren't misled. You were afraid of being called unpatriotic." [More...]
I Am A Liberal. There, I Said It.

"A formal censure by Congress is an appropriate and responsible first step to assure the public that when the president thinks he can violate the law without consequences, Congress has the will to hold him accountable," Feingold said. [More...]
