Glimmer of Truth
During an appearance on "Meet The Press", General George W. Casey made this nugget of truth available to the public:
He was, of course, referring to Operation Swarmer that was dubbed by the Pentagon as, "the biggest air assault since April 2003". If there is anyone on this planet that doesn't believe that it was a very costly (to taxpayers) publicity stunt, to boost GW Bush's plummeting poll numbers, then they're really just too stupid to live.
"It was an operation to go out into an almost uninhabited area," Casey said. "I think, frankly, it got a little bit more hype than it really deserved because of the use of the helicopters to get the Iraqi and the coalition forces there."
